Door Lock Installation

A door lock installation requires 45 minutes to install on wood doors and an hour on metal doors. It involves drilling the door and frame so that the knob/lever or deadbolt can properly secure the door. On a metal door a crimping tool will be needed to install the latch. On a wood door it can be chiseled.
